2nd graders are learning different techniques for cutting paper to create collages. The students are making their own decisions about what they want their collage to look like but they need to include the three techniques shown in class: overlapping, positive shapes, and negative shapes.

3rd graders are learning about different embroidery stitches. They must include three different types of stitches in their design, then they can choose to keep their embroidery a flat piece of fabric, or turn it into a pillow or a bag.
